Fellow V4S enthusiasts, I have managed to figure out what the problem was regarding the continuous blinking Hazard Lights. After thinking about it a little longer I thought maybe it could be that the Hazard on/off button was somehow stuck in the on position. So I went about disassembling the left switch to investigate this possibility. When I removed the bottom half of the left switch the data cable that connects it to the motorcycle fell free from the housing. It had somehow come unplugged. Once I plugged the data cable back in everything began to function as it should. After all of that, it leads me to believe that the hazard lights are activated by default whenever the computer does not read the left switch which accommodates the hazard, turn indicator, headlight, horn, bike settings, and riding mode controls to name just a few of the switches functions. For future reference, if anyone has that same problem check to make sure the data cable is securely seated into the left switch. It may just save you some time, headache, and potential diagnostic costs at the dealership.
