What are you racers doing with the headlight wiring harness when you install a race fairing? I haven't unwrapped the harness yet, but it doesn't appear to separately unplug from the harness. do you leave it in? Do you trace it back to its origin and pull the connectors from the harness?
Thanks,
Brett

You just leave it. Cover the connectors, so no water and dust comes in. Tie the cables in a nice way together and tie them for example under the front fairing holder. Do not unwrap anything or cut anything, it will only make it more eposed to failure/malfunction.

One thing I've found helpful in many past bikes is to use a mesh plastic bag (like a vegetable bag) to wrap around the bundle of loose wires and zip tie that up, keeps all of the loose connectors for rattling and you don't have to use 100 zip ties to get everything to stay in place.

Thanks guys, and Jarel, that's BRILLIANT!!
Let me add, that when I do have to leave connectors, I fill them with silicone based grease, and NEVER wrap in electrical tape. If you've ever opened a connection covered in tape exposed to the road and weather, you'll always find a mess. It seems to have the ability to allow dirty salty water in, and only the water out
