+1 on the battery comment. Probably the easiest shed of 7 lbs known.

...and hit the gym harder ;)

Yeah, im all over trying to shed pounds after getting this bike :)

I think the full termi will drop even more weight.

I seriously think some of you guys read into the weight way too much. Unless you'll be entering in the next AMA event you don't need to focus so hard on the weight.

But if you seriously have to ease your mind, stay off the Bearclaws and like said earlier hit the gym.:p

Also if your in VaBeach, you should talk to the guys at Redline in Yorktown. They are a /lot/ closer and take care of the Ducati owners. They really know their stuff and I believe I even saw an 1199 there a few days ago. Not sure why you would want to drive to DC to get our Duc or service up there. . .

I'm gonna get the S. thanks for all great opinions. I can't wait to get it. Ill hit up Redline later today and see what's up.

are you guys serious with the save 3 lbs. there is not one person in this forum that 3 lbs would make a difference i dont care what you claim or how many days you go to the track. unless your name is hyden or rossi you will no way shape or how notice the 3 lb difference. here is an idea get the S model since the leds are slightly heavier but the wheels are lighter its about even. now the day before you go to the track take an exlax before you go take a good dump save 3 lbs you clowns

hayden sorry about the typo i know the spell check weight police will be on me for that
