Heat shield and 41t letter

Has everyone got that letter from Ducati regarding the heat shield/sprocket? I have not received anything as of yet. I was hoping to have that letter in hand before seeing my dealer regarding the sprocket change.
 
Wait... What letter? What does it say? I've never received anything from the company.

It says get your ass to the dealer for the Heat Shield update (Free) and possibly a 41T Rear sprocket per the "R" (Chargeable)
 
Is everyone with a 1199 going to eventually get this mythical letter? I bought my 2012 base ABS in February and my dealer is playing dumb about a heat shield and the 41t offer. I got my welcome letter from DNA but no mention of a forthcoming heat shield replacement.

just take it to the dealer, you dont need to wait for any letter. and btw, the $1T change is absolutely worth

Change your dealer.... :(
 
I have a 1199 s w/abs. Just did the chain/sprocket. Opted out of the heat shield. I will do the carbon updated version when I get the updated headers.
