just my opinion, but I hardly think someone will look at an old heat shield and say "wow, that looks old and out of date". They may, however, look at the new one and think "wow, that looks kind of ugly. I wonder what aftermarket replacements are available?".

Although, having said that.....the termi carbon shield looks ok IMO. It's the stock one that is so ugly.
