I bought the 5th 1199S in the country back in May 2012 after a 28 year break from riding.

My thought is why would you buy a 13/14 1199S when you can wait a short time and get the 1299S.

Just for the downshift function and DWC it would be worth it. And grippy pegs.

Why buy something out of date before you walk out the door.
