Just picked up my 2012 Panigale 1199s non ABS this weekend and put almost 200 miles on her. She put one hell of a smile on my face :D! My first Ducati was in 2001 when a purchased my first Ducati Monster 750 with a silver flake flake gas tank and clip on bars (Cafe racer look). I believe they only made those in 2001. So on to the Panigale 1199s to experience some real Ducati performance and horsepower .

Welcome to the club! I love Portland. Got a friend live up the mountain and the road up there are really nice, specially in the fall.

These AAAAR riders can be very ignorant. ABS is an option that can be specified or not... To ArseHammer with them. ;)

Hi you in a great riding area, I purchased my R from MotoCorsa then spent
3 days riding around, Shaniko Fossil Condon The Dalles etc

Those are some great areas to ride out of the Columbia Gorge. I plan to get over to the John Day with my Panigale and my 4 piece fly fishing rod for some bass popper action very soon! Last summer I camped on the John Day river and cough over 100 bass all about 1 lbs. Cheers!

Oregon has quite a few GEMs for roads, biggest problem is rocks/gravel/LEO not exactly in that order.
Looking to head out on a shakedown run on the 1199 tonight then hit up 20,180,411,410 229 on sunday.

Thanks guys sounds fun. I am camping in Hoods Canal, WA with the family this weekend. Keep me posted on future meet ups! Thx.

Does anyone have some good ideas or could link me on the best ways to pickup truck a Panigale. I use to have yz450f with lots of easy attachment points but not so much with the Pani. I was looking at the Soma Racing Hook?

I only have a few hours here and there this weekend.. But without a doubt always up for some rides.. as long as there is a Dutch Bro's shop along the ride..Satrbucks is so early 2000's.

I have yet to trailer my bike, but for pick up trucks I built a bed insert.. nothing to special really. a 4x8 sheet of 3/4 plywood, with a cyclegear wheel chock for the front. then just strap the front to the wood and the rearsets to the truck.

Took the Pani up to Bonneville Dam in the Columbia Gorge and here are a few pictures. Cheers!
