Hi,

I'm a Brit/Aussie based in Singapore. Just picked up a 6 month old 1299S and excited to be back on a Ducati again. Had an order in for a new 2016 BMW S1000RR, but couldn't wait and the opportunity to pick up the 1299S came along in between. Previous ride was an S1000R and before that a Diavel! You can see which direction I'm heading from the bike choices! Got my first ride planned up to Malaysia for the day tomorrow and hoping the rain stays away.

Glad to be part of the online Ducati community!

Cheers,
Crowey

I was down there last year Nov time frame and there were some guys hanging out at the café near Hilton. I went down there and shoot some **** with those guys, good time and welcome

Where do you ride a Pani in Singapore? last time I was thee it was about 17 x 26 miles or something like that.

I appreciate the desire for something Italian, but would a Vespa in a 50's colour scheme not have been more appropriate:D

enjoy it bud

Haha thanks for the welcome guys. Stuck a pic on Google photos and tried to link to it, but wouldn't work. Maybe I need another place to host it.

Yeah the bike is crazy priced over here, new the 1299S is around US$45k on the road. Bloody taxes!

No point in riding around Singapore, as Captain Greg said it's only about 40x20 kms, but it's easy to get across the border to Malaysia for day trips. Managed a 500km round trip yesterday, lots of winding roads and decent freeway for the return ride. There is also a fairly antiquated track (Pasir Gudang) just across the border which takes me about 45 mins to get to from my place in Singapore. KL and Sepang is only a 300 km trip each way so will be heading up for SBK weekend and maybe a track day while I am there.

Very friendly bunch in Singapore, if you're ever over this way drop me a line.

In the meantime just need to find a way of dealing with the heat from under my backside, I'm sure it's made worse by constant 30+ degree heat and 100+% humidity!
