Hello all,

I am currently awaiting delivery on a new 2021 SFV4S. Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.

Bob

I would say that is a hell of a first Ducati! good choice.

Thank you!

Perhaps you can help me with a question and lay a bit of apprehension I have to rest.

Have you had any experience with Ducati and "recalls"? There is a recall on the flywheel for these bikes, and I'm thinking my bike will possibly be part of that batch due to the timing and everything. Should I be worried, or is Ducati pretty good about taking care of that stuff?

Thanks in advance for your help, and my apologies for taking up any of your time.

I have not had any recalls on my bikes. I have had warranty work done and I have read other forum users accounts of their experiences with recalls. Any recall your bike might be subjected to, the dealer has to perform. I can tell you the determining factor in your satisfaction is how good of a dealership you have. Other users with more experience in this area would be able to help more.

10-4. I won't monopolize anymore of your time.

Thank you again for the warm welcome. I look forward to contributing, and learning more on the forum about these machines.

No problem, anytime you have a question someone on here will most likely have an answer. Someone posted in the SF section that the bikes subject to the recall were still in the possession of Ducati. It's probable the bike will be fixed before it gets delivered.

That would be great if that is the case. Fingers crossed!

My first impressions of the forum has already been pleasantly exceeded! Thanks again cmh210!!
