What's up ducati1199.com peoples.
I joined back in January, sorry for the delayed response.

Prior Ducatisto here...
Had a '92 900SS 1/2 fairing (favorite bike of all time),
and a '94 M900.

Got out of the Duc world due to loss of the local dealership at the time.
Long list of other brands since then.

Now, a very awesome longtime Suz/Kaw dealer close to me has acquired
Ducati dealership status. And I am very happy about this.
(Hudson Valley MC in Ossining, NY owned by past AMA 750SS national champ Richie Alexander).

My '09 GSXR750 trackbike was fine. An awesome machine. Really.

But the passion of pasta, fine wine, espresso, prancing horses, scantily clad chicks on Vespas...
these things are rolled-up into the soul of a Ducati.

Therefore- I am back.

Hard to practice restraint, ain't it?

Thanks for having me here. Looking forward to good fun & sharing.

Congratulations and welcome back! You live in my old stomping grounds. I was born and raised in Westchester. Miss Spring and Fall, not Summer and Winter!

Congrats and welcome back to the forum! I don't think restraint and Ducati go together...

Where's the pics?

I had ridden Japaneese brand motorcycles (GSXR, YZF, & RR) on street & track since '96. Since I moved to Westchester from NYC, I've been dedicated to Hudson Valley Motorcycle shop in Ossining NY for 10 years and through 7 motorcycles. I've always trusted everyone in the shop, and would NEVER go anywhere else. These people care about customer satisfaction. I had never thought about the Ducati brand until Hudson Valley picked up the brand last year. Since then, I hesitantly sold 5 Japaneese bikes in my stable, and bought 2 Panegali, one for street & one for track. I'll never look back. Best bike I've ever ridden.

On the table, ready for some minor surgery.
Waiting for some ordered stuff to arrive.

I was 'only' gonna do the rearsets here, but with the aluminum heel guards, it looked like piss.
*Poof* Before you could blink an eye, carbon magically appears.

Then the tumor spread to the clutch cover.
Very aggressive, this Carbonitis.
Or shall I say, Carbonoma...

The &%@# parts dept has trick bits hanging conveniently in your face at every turn.
Must. Resist. Temptation.

Welcome back to Ducati and congratulations on the Pani purchase!

Don't fight the carbonoma as the side effects of resistance are worse than giving in to the affliction!

Nice rear sets!
