just wanted to say hi to everyone...

ended up here looking for a basic technical help, maybe not very technical for the rest of you.
I never done any work on my 899 and now I m replacing battery and adding tender. Don't even know what key I need to remove the side panels, can anyone advise?
In a bit of embarrassment I ask your help!

Welcome to THE forum.

Pm me your email address, i have a download link for the workshop manual.

The side panel for the battery is a little tricky since ther eare hooks in the tank atea that require pushing it forward to avoid breaking them.
