I'm would like go for the AGV Pista GP when it becomes available. I currently have a Shoei X-11 (Glory), and love it-great fit for my head, quality design, and I like the look. But that new Pista GP looks incredible, with a huge visor for visibility. Of course it all depends on the price point. I've already stretched the budget by adding Termi slip-on, aero-kit panels, and carbon license plate holder to the base I have ordered. I'm also interested in the LED headlights.

Well frosty I had a little better luck with Shopatron. I ordered that same helmet in December and received it within 5 days.
I'm glad I was able to get it because they are pretty much all gone now and I just love that design.
But hang on, I hear that there is a new design that has not been released yet that is fantastic.
Now that is a sweet helmet. What is the name of that one?

How long did it take you to get it ?
I cancelled my order today because I could not get much information on what was going on with it.

I see that the helmet is still advertised on the ducati website and it's even about $100 less than I paid.
I got mine on sale for about $100 off msrp.
But it sure seems like its been frustrating for you guys.

Yup, nobody has em. That's what pisses me off about their website. They put NEW 2012 Dainese gloves on there, ordered them then they contact me and say they're discontinued. HOW THE HELL DO YOU DISCONTINUE A BRAND YOU MODEL THAT WAS JUST ADDED TO YOUR WEBSITE?

I currently have a AGV GP TECH and wouldnt buy another one! i have to really strain my neck and push the chin bar right up to my bottom lip in order to get a clear line of sight, otherwise i just see the top of the visor aperture. real pain which for a top of the range lid shouldnt be an issue. Its Shoei next for me i think

After seeing this pic I had to have this helmet. I found one at the local dealer and snagged it. They had the 2012 model but I just wasn't feeling it. I also got a smokin deal as he sold it to me for $699.

awesome deal on a helmet that is almost impossible to find right now. Most paid over $900 for that lid
And completely agree that it is far better than the new design.

I'm sure your aware that sizes L & M are exactly the same size outer shell, apart from cheek-pad thickness and skull-cap liner - all of which can be bought separately, or changed from another helmet you may own.
Just to improve your chances of sourcing one.

Mine is a large. But I've found that I wear different sizes depending on the helmet. With the Aria Signet Q I wear a small.
