HELP!!! Did this screw fall in the gas tank?

I opened my gas tank today just to examine the screws holding the gas cap and one is missing I'm wondering if it went in the gas tank and if so how much damage could it do?

Yup thats just a breather hole....

There are only 4 allen type screws holding down the gas cap assembly.

Nothing to worry about. Wilkson is correct.

The famous drain that goes in the carbon canister. When overfilling the tank, gas goes from there into the canister turning the carbon into sludge and causes vacuum problems.
