Hi guys, my name is Alfonso and I'm from Italy. This week I'll pick up may panigale S Abs...:)

Hi bro

No not yet, we got only the s and some Tricolore at the moment, no base yet.

The dealer told me most of the order wher efor the Base model, only two s in order and no Tricolore for now.

I think in the Us and Uk they received the bikes sooner. For example no dealers here got a demo bike... so you have to get the baby without even have a ride on it ...

This is my first Duc, I have already a Bmw s 1000 rr 10 and a Bmw gs 1200 adv 10. Finger crossed ...

I guess... maybe they have to buy it ... italian dealers sell only on orders, no demo bike at all... I think it's absurd for such an important model...

I thought it was a crime in Italy for an Italian to ride a BMW . . . ? =)

i was quite surprised, how few ducati or aprilia i've seen all over italy, but BMWs... they seem to really like (have liked) them. especially, in 2004, when i first realized, the bimmers were not the beauties...

and: wasn't the first stolen 1199 in milan? no wonder the dealers deliver by order ;-)

Yes, that's true, they've stolen it from the dealer Ducati Milano during the night. It was the Milan show bike, not a customer's one.

I owned a lot of japanese bike ... i'm 52 years old, so maybe I rode all the best nippo bike of all the times... such as Suzuki Katana, Honda cb 1100 r, Honda rc 30 .... then a lot of r1s, from the very first of 1998 to the last 2009...

I was already a Bmw customer as my second bike is a Gs 1200 Adv 2010. When s 1000 rr arrived in March 2010 my friend the dealer simply told me... 'Take the keys and go for a ride...'

Oh God. That's was what I said in the very first minute....

That bike is ... supreme. No matters at all if it's not an Italian brand... s 1000 rr i simply by far the best bike I ever owned....

So my s 1000 rr still remains... panigale is mi very first Duc so i cross my fingers...

By the way, excuse me for my bad English ... school was a long time ago ...

no problemo, tutti molto bene! (that is the best i can in italian ;) )

Very good Phil !!! So we've to put on a new language... the 'Italish' or so...

I think italian is a very difficult language to learn...
