Just took delivery of my 2015 1299s. Of course it's pouring rain here, and predicted to do so for another week

I work from home and live near a ton of beautiful mountain roads. My past experience includes some track time, a year of racing a gsxr 600 on local track, an aprilia rsvr, a gsxr 1000, 750 and a duc 848.

Currently the 1299s is my only child now :)

I'll be looking for a decent...
  1. track stand
  2. tidy tail
  3. tank protector
  4. really good ramp for my f150

I understand the gist of the ride modes etc but holy cow, this bike is practically AI !

Cheers from Canada eh!

thanks :)

I set rain mode and took her out in the rain. She is a beast but that familar twin feeling brought a sense of zen and i was oblivious to the rain :)

My boy Tag likes her too :) Another toy to wash

I live in lower mainland as well and i put mine in storage already. I think it's better to get permit for a day or two here during winter, it not just rain or snow that makes it tough to ride, moist air is worst.

Thank you. I will keep you in mind for a ride along on those rare days when it all lines up :)

Problem is, those good days are hard to predict now
