I ORDERED THE 5000K 55W FOR MY HIGHBEAM FROM XEBRITE ENGINEERING. I JUST INSTALLED THESE ON A CBR 1000RR AND THEY WERE SO BRIGHT I HAD TO GET A PAIR FOR MYSELF. VERY CLEAN CRISP WHITE COLOR AND TWICE AS BRIGHT AS MY 35W 6000K HIDS. THIS COMPANY IS VERY PROFESSIONAL SO FAR. THIS SERIES REQUIRES APPROXIMATELY 7a AND ONLY PULLS 6V TO PRODUCE 5100 LUMENS.
I AM THINKING OF ORDERING THE NEW 70WATT SLIM BALLAST FOR MY LOWBEAM. IT REQUIRES 10a, AND BROADCASTS 6500 LUMENS!! REDICULOUS. IT MAKES ONLY 15-20 DEGREES MORE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE WIICH SHOULD BE WELL WITHIN OEM SPECIFICATIONS. I WILL POST PICS ON INSTALL:)

I also have a set of HID's on the way for mine. 35w 5k however. 70w is pretty intense heat...

Looking forward to these installs gents. If you can, please document with pics of the install, and your observations on everything (install and results). Thanks.

Wow. I will say this now. this is a completely different design than the other ducati's. This will take some fabrication for the high beams. There is allot to know ahead of time on this. I will post pics tomorrow when it's finished.

Darn, I was hoping this would be easy, and inexpensive. I should have known better.

Again, thanks for the information and looking to the results.

I had the 8000k on my SKRR low beam. Made one hell of a difference and was really easy to install too. I've got a feeling it ain't gonna be so with the Duke. I only recently found out that the base doesn't come with LEDs. Still, i couldn't justify the extra 5K for wizztrickery i rarely need to use.

Can't wait to hear the fitting details for the HIDs.

I just posted a full thread on how to install. Not easy at all. but wel worth it last night!!! The difference is unbelieveable

Is it considerably easier to do only the lows? I almost never use high-beams.
