Hid lights

Why?

Now you are opening up a huge can of worms bro!
This thread will go on for 100 pages with talk between the awesome LED lights our new bikes come with, and the controversy over installing HID ballasts and light boxes on a seriously electronic maze of madness. I do admit HID gives out some serious glow but I'd be very leery about doing this on that bike. I wanted to do this upgrade on my 1198 Corse and was HIGHLY advised not to based on brutal electric confusion and damage to the ECU behind the entire dash unit. I am sure someone will be doing this, and I am anxious to hear about it myself, but there is NO WAY I will be the guinea pig for this feature on a 28k bike!

I went with 55w 6000k 2 SETS.As for the can worms This its not my 1st Bike i also got the Hid on my 2008 DESMOSEDICHI RR, And no eror at all.And remeber thts a 80.k Bike not 28k my Bro.

Congrats on using HIDs...did you buy projectors for them?

I ask because I was advised by the retrofitsource.com not to use 55W with the Morimoto Mini projectors as they might get too hot. I have bi-xenon 55W on my S4RS and they are great, I do think I could have used bi-xenon 55W rather than 35W on my 1098R.
