Products are decent, delivery timeframes can be measured in snail years, and the U.S. distributor is a joke. I'd go with the Shift-Tech carbon any day of that stuff.

put it all on my project bike; painter (who does loads of BSB/WSBK/Motogp stuff) says best stuff he seen since he did Troy Bayliss bike way back.

That's what I needed to know.I just saw the carbon fiber tail section and had to go home to change my undies

I have the tank and it's absolutely beautiful no fitment issues at all. I agree with Jarel statements regarding the US distributor. Fortunately they had one in stock and got it in three days. But the others stuff I bought took forever.

TBH - this is a very good piece of kit and I think good value for money - it's super light, all in one piece; don't even have to paint it if you get it varnished!

I took these pictures at AIMExpo last November. They were transitioning their name from CDT to Fullsix (as in 6th element - Carbon):

Oh sure! I recall seeing that bike and their setup at the AIM show too Jeff!
Sure does look sharp as hell now that I recall it. I didnt think they were a CDT replacement though, you sure about this? Any news media on that issue?

Nothing beats shiny , wet, glossy, clear coat dripping beautiful Carbon Fiber!!!! :)

I'm old-school with you Gunny, glossy cf FTW!

Yeah, they were just up the aisle about 30 meters from you at Bellissimoto. Here's their website "about us" page where they talk about the development of the FullSix brand. The parent company is apparently still CDT Group:

ABOUT US | Fullsix

Glossy CF is the new chrome...... Matt FTW...

These are the guys that used to be named CDT. I held their stuff at AIM Expo last year and the full carbon 1199 tail section is suhweeet.

Waiting for someone to make a street version. Now that would be cool.

I asked the FullSix guy at the AIMExpo show last year if they would. He said if there was enough demand to then they would. So anybody interested should send an email directly to the company and build that demand...

Edit: Now that the 899 is out and apparently selling well, there should be much more incentive for them to do so. Maybe the 899 owners would send requests too. I'll be at AIMExpo again next month so I'll inquire if the factory FullSix guys are again in attendance at the OPP Racing (North American distributor) booth.

That rear subframe/tail section... omg... sweet!! and I must be an old fart that love the newer stuff... non-glossy CF for me please. Sweeeeeet!!

1.6kgs = 3.52lbs

Anyone knows the weight of the stock part?

Oh, wait, that is not a street part replacement??

I would love to buy one. But I am really pissed: after ordering FullSix electronic sidepanels (the plastic things left and right under the fuel tank), I had to cancel the order after waiting for 4 months and being put off with fake delivery dates a couple of times.

Is the tail section on the SL made out of CF as well??

Yep, the SL's tail is fully CF and different in design than the other Pani's. Mounting sections for BBS and number plate holder are compatible with the other 1199s.

It's possible the replace the alu subframe with the SL's CF tail, but will cost you a fortune! :( :(
