Wasnt going to say it on my first reply here but figured Id toss it in now if you are still thinking these things over Sergio. Matter of fact, I believe you have seen the work done by Sean at Connecticut Cycle Refinishing before. On every bike he paints he NEVER uses decals or stickers on fairings and then clear coats over them!
He does every logo or sticker looking piece using a stencil and then hand paints each one of them before adding the clear over top of that. Its unreal and you'd seriously think it was a clear coated decal until you run your finer over them! Here are a few links on his paint jobs done for members here, and there are tons more Panigales he has done on Ducati.Org too.

This one really starts on Post # 21 onward, and Post # 26 Sean himself discusses the matter of hand painting the decal looking logos.

Just something to think over, and if interested shoot him an email or PM and please let him know I sent you forward to him Sergio!
