How to adjust preload on forks?

I have a a panigale V4s

I want to put more preload on the front fork

I know I have to disconnect the electric wires

But then, do I give it a few turns on both forks?

Or just one?

Sorry for the stupid question, but some were I saw there were some forks that you just adjust one for preload, and the other for rebound
 
Pop off the electrical connectors then turn the nut on both forks.

If memory serves me you need a 32mm socket.
 
The adjuster is the same size socket as your front axle nut. Also I would recommend using a sandwich bag or a piece of plastic over it to avoid scarring.

Yeah, I ended up scribing rings on the fork caps from the socket
