So got a call from the dealer, one of the tabs holding the heat shield (no it's not an AR, it's stock!) broke off, they have to keep the bike in and wait for the new pipe to come from italy.
so i will return the one eye bandit tonight and leave without the red hot chick in a black dress.
will keep you posted.
this also means i am expecting the tuneboy and will have the cored exhaust - but no bike.
more time to work on the old mercedes (the only car for a real german )

i like beemers, but growing up close to Sindelfingen, where approx. 80% work for MB, and always having admired the build quality of these cars (until the late 90s), having worked there in the summer holidays, i just cannot get around it.
but we were also not far from Zuffenhausen...
