the flat spot at 4500 is annoying but if you are riding hard you really should not be down there anyway. mainly feel it when strafing vettes ,etc.

if you ever get over to the blairsville ,ga. area to ride look me up, i have a second home there and spend a lot of time riding in that area.

well, to be more specific, it wont't occur, when i move the throttle in a limited percentage ahead of the revs. but at low revs, then opening the throttle to the max and seeing what power it delivers, this just happens.
i guess it is a certain field in the mapping of the injection/ignition what is programmed like this for certain purposes. (noise/ emissions ?)

anyway, i will watch it and then see what can be done about it after breaking in. new mapping/ cans/ system ....

have i mentioned before that this is such a superb motorcycle anyway?

does the base model panigale have a different windscreen to the S models etc? also mate how do the base model lights look? are they a bluey colour? mindtaking a pic of them on with high and low beam and parking lights? thanks
 
well he just came around the corner and raised his arm and indexed in the sky... no lights/sirens... didn't know what that meant, stopped at the next opportunity 20 sec up the road, waited for 5 mins. (as a foreigner i don't wanna get in trouble by getting away from a cop :eek: )

they are also on with the standard lights (2nd pic)
couldnt see if also with the high beam (too bright, was just 2ft away) - but won't matter i guess....

i must admit, i love the looks!
