Looks good! Well done!
Where does the number plate go ???? LOL
Looks great!! I want!! We need more details, pics, prices, etc...
That set the standard man. Great job!
Fantastic idea. Can you make it with a more smoked finish on the LED's so as not to be so visible in daylight?[/QUO
Everything is possible. I could cover the leds with a film intended for darkening brake lights before inserting into mold. However, It will definately take away from visibility. Notice the space open under the tail where that contraption was mounted before. Tonight I am molding plastic to make a cover for it. I will be inserting 8 rowns of LEDS in it to be activated by the brake lever. I created a driver to make them strobe, or work in 9 different sequence patterns. I will apply this film to those to see the difference. Might take me a few days but I will post.
Looks great man, though I too am not a big fan of how it looks when its not running or in the daylight. Ideally I would like something that would blend in more or isn't visible until it is illuminated. The white strips contrasting against the black tire hugger and tail light area look odd; they stick out too much and almost take away from the lines of the bike. Hopefully you can figure out a way to actually make it integrated into the tail light. I, like every other swinging dick with an 1199 am patiently waiting for an integrated tail light.
Vicious, this is a super cool piece of work ! Set's the mark on all the jobs I've seen so far.
Are you saying, the additional turn signal strip you mounted inside the tail light is just not bright enough to stand out from the regular or break light or what was the issue with this? In principle this seems (to someone like me with two left hands) like the easiest way to go.
Are you planning on doing anything fancy to the turn signals on the front?[/QUOT
The tail light is bright enough and I could even surround the tail lamp for better view. However, I was also concerned for side angle view. Alot of accidents occur from this angle. I lead our group through the mountains here and we are VERY aggressive so they need to know my every move and I have to signal and brake for all to see...
this is very awesome, would love something like this, just on the rear hugger, can you do it in orange[/QUOTE
Sure can. I am doing 4 in amber and 7 red so far. Text me to get it started. When I finish theses I am creating a hugger that is two levels of red (driving light/brake light) and will cancel to amber when turnsignal is pressed.
