My dealer has offered me the option to switch from the "S" to the Tri. It's hard to deny the looks of the tri and options installed may make it worth the extra 5K. Simply stunning.
My original order was for an S no ABS, which ended up being the first bike to be delivered to the dealership and was used as the launch bike. On the day of the launch I went to get the bike sag set up for my weight so it would be ready for me to ride away after the launch was done.
My dealer had an open Tri order which the original buyer had backed out on. I flipped the dealer a discounted offer on the Tri and they did it. My Tri arrived the next week.
Dealers know, the price point on the Tri makes it a tougher sell, so if you like it more, I'd flip the dealer an offer. The worst that can happen is that they say no, and you ride away on the S instead.
