Intermittant power loss while riding

I have about 1000 miles on my panigale and I just noticed while riding that if I try to maintain a speed, I can feel the bike briefly lose power and then get it right back. Anyone else have this issue?

I don't feel the loss of power but for just a second the engine sounds different as if it is hesitating. I have about 6000 miles and have only experience this about a dozen times mostly at slow to intermediate speeds.

You will have to forgive me, but I am very new to Ducati''s. If I unhook the valve will I get any errors on the dash? What are the benefits of unhooking it?
 
The Dragon Lady never had an exhaust valve as she was wearing full Termis from the moment I made her mine, but she also suffered of power surges/losses/flat spots when cruising. It was due to bad fueling. Once she had her pro stock race map and PCV with Autotune all of that became a bad memory never to return. :cool:

That's good to hear. I am shopping for a new exhaust right now, so it's nice to know those issues will be resolved once that is done.

The flat spot/surging/power loss only disappeared with the fitment of a PCV with Autotune which sorted out her fuelling.

I have a Competition Werkes slip on for sale for $1 000.00 shipped - see classifieds. It is an awesome system that creates more power compared to standard, gives you a big weight loss and sounds like the dogs bollocks. :cool:
