Is Stoner coming back?

* 2 lots of testing for HRC in the last month
* Quitting V8 supercars at the end of the year...

I smell a come back!!!!

i hope youre right however i doubt it. he swears he is not coming back unless there are major rule changes. maybe he misses it though. if he does come back is danny out? does stoner go somewhere else (ducati although doubtful)

if stoner does comeback that means 46 will never finish better than 5th.

it would be not in any particular order

i gues it would be a good thing for racing but could be a rude awakening now MM setting new standards and he is pushing JL beyond JL's best... if silverstone was anything to go bye, there is not much room to squeeze in at the top...

quit or leave when you are on top. the guy retired at the height of his career going out on top. Sort of like barry sanders mariano rivera. would you rather him stick around for say 3 years and be irrelevant? a certain Valentino Rossi comes to my mind or colin edwards?

all you 46 guys keep me bashing the guy. funny thing is i kind of feel bad for the guy. reminds me of jerry rice on the raiders. keeps coming back after acl surgeries just to hang on

I sincerely doubt Stoner attempts a comeback. He's in a pretty good situation now as a tester/developer for Honda and, based on what Honda has stated, they're very happy to have someone of his caliber in that role. I'm sure Honda is compensating him generously.

honda loves having stoner as a tester and so does good old (i mean young ) MM as he has stated as such. Stoner loves doing it as he stated he gets his fill of a motogp bike.
his times are pretty good too.

It seems to me that you're the only one who mentions 46 on every racing thread...but if it helps your hatred to blame others then carry on.

Don't worry, if he is really as much of a Stoner nuthugger as I think he is he'll follow Stoner's example and quit posting about 46 at some point.

But even not being on top why would you quit something you love to do and get paid for it? I'm no 46 super fan but he is good for the sport and draws large crowds and big sponsors.

I'm sure Jerry was still having fun getting paid on the Raiders.

Then there is always dancing with the stars after retirement!
