I'm talking about the latest one with the red sleeves and speed hump on the back. I think it's made by Dianese.

Anyone here have it? Is it over kill? I tried one on (60 was a squeeze, does it come larger?). Anyway, feels like good quality gear.

Not usually a brand wearing type of dude, but this one caught my eye.

I'd be wearing it only for my Starbucks posing runs ;)

Opinions: love it or hate it?
 
I have the 2010 version of this jacket and i like it. Im thinking of getting this one as well, either that or i need to finally clean mine. I live in California so i got the perforated one, they have an unperforated version as well.
 
Why not get the unbranded version?

.... that, That jacket is bad ass. Its no different when the Harley ..... wear their orange jackets, harley boots and a tshirt from every town they have driven through... (I can say that because when i had a harley up until a month ago, i wore all their garb to while riding :)

I dont have the extra cash for it but when i do, this jacket will be mine along with the Aria Corsair V Ducati logo. Right now i have this coat which i got for 50% off so i couldn't pass it up

Regardless, i get sick of people saying "that too much Ducati, or They don't pay me to advertise their .... etc etc. all thats ......... If you can afford it, buy it, and when those fuckers call you a "Fan Boy" just tell them to .... off and mind their own ...... business. Im sure you dont tell them NOT to wear their "Members only" jackets do you?

I agree wholeheartedly. I hate the Harley "costumes" so it would be inconsistent to ride decked out in Ducati logos. But, to each his own.

I have the non perforated one and it works good in the summer and winter. My favorite thing about this jacket it has 3D mesh which keeps you cool during the summer just unzip it a little and the air flow circulates around back even with a wave back protector installed no sweat spot on your shirt:). Winter zip it up to keep the cold air out. I have worn it all winter long with just a thermal shirt underneath keeps me nice and warm.

Hi RSR Racer,

It looks like a really good thing and only just a little blingy. I wouldn't care about the pose factor. You only live once.
Of course it's probably because i ride a couple of bikes that i can really only exploit maybe? 50 - 75% of the capability of anyway.

As you say, Dianese make these for DUCATI but perhaps the equivalent in a dianese jacket would be cheaper.
I have an earlier version of this jacket. I think it's called the Speed '10 (probably a 2010 model).
It's a good jacket. Warm enough in winter and cool enough in summer if i leave the zipper down lower to let some more air in. With side panels that are perforated
Mine has all the features you could want including a zipper for attaching the matching leather pants to at the back. Something to consider if you would like to do track days.

i have that jacket but it is the dainese version in all black so little to no signage.

Whether or not you want to go around as a ducati billboard is up to you and i think it's fine as long as you don't have the matching helmet etc.

Enjoy the jacket it's very good quality.

Here is my .2 cents for what it is worth.

I don't drink at Starbucks .. I am more of a four barrel kind of guy ;)

It is a great jacket. If you like it/want it/etc and your guts say get it then by all means do. Do not let the opinions of others sway what your own guts tell you.

Personally, the HD branded, BMW branded or whatever branded crowd does not bother me in the slightest, if they are happy then I am happy.
