Is the Ducati Corse leather jacket too much bling?

Face it. All of the gear make you look like a rolling billboard. One the positive side, it might help you stick out a bit in traffic.

If you think street gear is blinged out, check out what the guys riding MX are wearing. Some of those jersey/pant combinations require batteries.

is this too blingy?

I was strictly referring to wearing the same brand as your ride. There's no getting around branding period. I would rather someone ask what I ride as well as I prefer the brands that don't make the branded gear besides my Arai helmet. But on that subject I can get it for far less than if it were to Say Ducati on it. The bike itself has no less than 8 labels that are visible.

I've the very same full 2 piece leather suit ( same Jacket + matching Corse leather Pants) its non-Perf and yes they are made by Dainese for Ducati - Made in Ukraine, had em imported a couple weeks ago, I still didnt get a chance to wear em though, looks like I love it...

Here's the deal - Its the best motorcycle Jacket, IMHO the quality/protection is 2nd to none unless you wanna pay over $4k for the " Alpinestars Airbag kinda suit".. I would say the entire 2 piece suit is worth it ... Just the Jacket costs $750 USD - But if you look for some deals on ebay (brand new with tags) you might find 'em for much cheaper..
If you can afford it, gets it without a doubt..

Hey guys, EVERYTHING here is branded, who do you think you are fooling! ;)

Got a point there,Trauma. I guess it comes down to what company name will be on your gear

I'd just use the Duc jacket for street riding with my Kevlar jeans. Currently use Rocket mesh and textile in summer and no real winter leather. (just put my Gerbing's under it and it's all good)

I have this for the track made by a local guy.

Great quality and price and just an elusive and very busy owner of the company who is hands on track side for repairs up and down the east coast.

+1, Agreed

I'm talking about the latest one with the red sleeves and speed hump on the back. I think it's made by Dianese.

Ducati Corse 12 leather jacket - Ducati Apparels

Anyone here have it? Is it over kill? I tried one on (60 was a squeeze, does it come larger?). Anyway, feels like good quality gear.

Not usually a brand wearing type of dude, but this one caught my eye.

I'd be wearing it only for my Starbucks posing runs ;)

Opinions: love it or hate it?

RSR if you like it you should buy it. I have one of the Ducati jackets, mine is the Mecannica or something like that. No hump on it and a bit more old school looking. I also have the Ducati Arai Corsair which everyone thinks looks great.

Why the hell would you worry what other people think.

Don,t forget if you get one with a hump it makes it hard to wear a backpack for those longer trips

Obviously do what you want, but it's obnoxious... just like those HD riders all tagged out.

Hey guys....

They have a close out on all SMX Plus boots 2012.

Saw these, have to buy them (I only have riding shoes, prefer boots)...

I like the jacket... except for the hump... If you have it you better be able to damn well ride... Squidly riding in that is going to make you look seriously dumb...

Lol, some truth to that.

Although I like the airflow, and how it helps when you crash.

Which Ducati jean do you have? There seem to be several.
