I'm refering to CR-207 Recall.

Is the only way to change the motor? or if you replace upper plates should work?

Pull the heads and change the valves and guides at about $100 per set. So $1600 plus new shims (probably all would need to be changed) and gaskets plus labor. Pricey if done buy the dealer. Wait these are valve spring motors that would take about 8 hrs labor off.

If I order those according to the spare parts I won't have those issues?

Because I imagine those parts were the problem so it was either a Quality Assurance issue on the manufacturing of the part or just wrong sizing which means a different part number from the original manufacturing run of the motorcycle.

Typically if you change the guide the seat in the head has to be reground. You can replace the guides with your oven and freezer (heat the head, freeze the guide). When the guides removed (heat the head first and pound the guide out with an appropriate drift) you need to measure the hole in the casting to see if your need an oversize. So you can't order the guides first. Doable if you're handy. Winter project. If it were me I'd be looking for a used set of heads from an unaffected year.
