Has anyone got a current up to date history of errors and issues with 1199 panigale.

1. Left signal went out, recall & fix performed under warranty.
2. Coolant leak - Covered under warranty
3. Rear cylinder valve cover leak - Fixed myself
4. Gear position sensor went out - Going to try and fix myself
5. Blown water pump - Going to try and fix myself

LOVE riding her but the ownership experience has been far from pleasurable.

...thats obviously "the short list"...... ....but who really cares....its a great bike (period)

Does anyone know of the mirror issue with them coming loose at the base has been fixed in a revision?

I think they might be hit and miss. meaning some just give out.
I'm buying a second hand left one next week for a hundred.

What side is yours?

My problem one is the left side also, while riding can flop forward.
Has decent movement up and down at the pivot point

When I got my bike the radiator hoses were leaking. Changed the clams and haven't had a problem. Well the evap system with not letting the bike start after riding on warm days. Removed that.

common problem on the 1199 and depending on your dealer they may warranty even though your well out. i bought mine in 2016 and both mirrors were loose at the pivot point, i took it to my local dealer and they got them replaced and said to not fold the mirrors in because it can happen again. Not sure what your take is on bar ends but i switched to those and am storing the oems for when i sell the bike.

I haven’t bought the bar ends yet.... just wanted to know if they remove vibrations or same as stock.

No, same. Anything else is placebo, they 2cyls vibrate a little.

never been a real problem, on 300 mile plus days with a 100 miles over a 100 mph your hands will get beat, but when I look over at the guys on the smooth cruiser BMW's full fairing, they are shaking their hands to lol.

Found two things

The click together clamp used on the vertical head breather pipe is around the wrong way and gouging into the tank down to bare metal.

There is a cable that gets cable tied to the vertical head ht lead it’s on the right side of the sub frame I think it’s been damaged from the tank - outer insulation has gone.

Rapid bike removes vibrations.... as for the mirror issue, I’ve used rubber sheet with 3m double sided tape to take up the looseness. Has worked well so far.
All other issues were fixed via warranty.
Coolent leak due to mesh webbing substrate being over molded incorrectly. Allowing coolant to weep through substrate.
Vertical cylinder valve cover oil leak.
Melted spot on gauge cluster.
Having to bleed the clutch every 1000-1500 miles (not fixed by warranty).
Gear indicator replaced.

Rapid bike was the best investment!!!
Good luck.
