Totally! I had to vacate my concrete condo and move into an igloo to stay warm!

............. :p

I ride all year as long as the roads are clear.
Not a lot, but if it's cold and clear I'll go out for a chilly spin!

I thought that Indianapolis have a cold weather in the winter, I was at moto gp this year at Indy (corner 9 club) and some locals told me that it sometimes snows in Indy.

Having received the bike three weeks ago I've managed 900kms. I'm sure the weather will allow a few more rides before winter.

I will miss them both :(

Dude! You're using MY BIKE as your avatar. That is freaking awesome! I salute you on your excellent taste sir!

Oh, and yeah up here in the PNW I miss riding like hell already. Looks like I get one last chance this weekend to turn a wheel in anger, but that will be it. Time to break out the snowboards, single malts, video games, and porn for the winter. OK, the porn & single malts are a year-round thing, but they both make winter easier too.

It's not the cold that bothers me.. It's the salt the DOT puts down on the road that eats my bike. That bothers me.....

We get 10months of great riding a year here in the Philippines...2 months of rain...
We only have two seasons (Wet and Dry)... even during the (wet) rainy season...we still get days were you can ride and steal a bit of sunshine...

I agree, i'd take my bike out if its nice out, however the salt they throw on the ground is ridiculous!!! No salt on my 1199, so its that time of year for us who live where the climate effects the ride. Im good to save miles on my ride, BETTER the RESALE!! $$$

It does snow sometimes but hopefully not a lot.
The worst ( for me at least) is when that one snow comes and then it just hangs around on the ground for a month.
When the roads clear off and if the salt has cleared away I go out but like I said only for short rides
30 degrees is cold on a bike!
As far as I'm concerned we can just skip ahead till march now

When you say your bike your making reference to the 1199R that we both own or ''your'' bike in the sense that you know that model sitting on it?

:D

Thanks/ Merci

It sucks having two summer only toys...

Before I hear the ''drive the m3 in the winter'' comments I should add it's supercharger and I'm not interested.

I'm in the same boat...2 summer only toys. Luckily I have a DD as well... But it does suck watching them under covers for 6 months every year...

It sucks for sure, I also stored my 392 Challenger today after cleaning and waxing...
