That was great to watch. You just knew (and so did Dovi) that Marquez was going to be throwing bombs that only he could get by with. He did, but Dovi managed it perfectly; kudos to him for staying calm and playing his cards perfectly. Amazing the level of grip they have on full wets in those conditions; still can't quite get my head around that...
so now there are 2 should be a very interesting last 3 weeks.
dont forget the outside chance of rossi pulling off the championship bwhahaha
Anyhow now that the championship is down to 2 riders MM and AD who do you have?
I see Dovi as a smooth and clean rider, while Marquez is fast and reckless. A clean fighter versus a dirty fighter...
sorry i have to disagree dovi is smooth and clean marquez is aggressive to find the ultimate limit and yes takes risks but he isnt a dirty rider. i believe if MM wanted to he could take no risk and finish 3rd with crashing basically at will. reckless was 58 and now 29. those 2 are not only a threat to themselves but to others on the track as well. again just my opinion.
Only just got to watch this last night. What a fantastic race! Absolute master class from Dovi.
My only gripe, Marc on the last corner, followed by the stupid grin in the paddock, can't help but think it was a last ditch attempt from Marc to cause Dovi to come off....
Yeah, Marc is not reckless....he's just on the limit near 100% of the time and appears to be reckless.
Dovi is a pure student of the sport, I really admire his approach and humility.
I think Phillip Island is Marc's race to lose.
Dovi should be strong and win in Malaysia.
Valencia will be the decider....Ducati had some good testing put in by Stoner there and should be ready with bike setup.
I really like MM more and more but 100% am rooting for Dovi to take it this year.
