Hello Ducati friends, I have a 2019 Ducati V4. It’s a brand new bike with only 148 miles on it. Today, I filled up with gas and notched it sputtering/jerking...then shutting off while riding. I can quickly start it back up, but puzzled if anyone has experienced this before? Any ideas?

Try deleting the evap canister. Seems to sort out a lot of people’s bikes who had similar issues

What gassing up procedures are people following that anecdotally leads to hard start/stuttering/only Ducati problems?

I fill my tank till the nozzle clicks off and have had no problems with 1299 and V4
1299 did have problems until the ECU got flashed and removed evap can.
V4 has been flawless since the beginning. Truly exception machine imo. I’m sure the doubting Thomas’ out there will say Ducs new proDUCts are .... but it is really those ppl that are just full of ..... The V twin bikes need some work to make them truly great, it was rough for a little while there with my 1299 but now it’s been sorted and it’s a dream

It’s crazy, i changed the riding mode to race and took it out again, it ran well! So, not sure what the @&&& went on, but it seems to run okay now! I still think it might have been the gas I put in today. Also, the dash flashed low battery.. could that have caused any riding issues of stall or jerking motion while accelerating? Puzzled..

You have a 2 year old bike with only 150 miles on it. My guess would be you have fuel gummed up somewhere if that tank was left with fuel in it.
