Since Mr. DucatiKev posted a clip of the excellent sounding Zard exhaust, I thought I would post a sound clip of the Jester's exhaust in case anyone wants to compare. It literally "barks". Much more rumble at higher revs than the stock exhaust. I find myself wanting to listen to it all day. Both clips are similar, one has a bit more revs.



 
Yeah that sounds sweet! It’s pretty awesome on the upshift mine cracks and bangs as I was hoping.

so are u leaving your Jester exhaust on and just deal with the flat spots? Or r u running the Tuneboy now
 
This thing pops like gunfire and shoots flames. It is crazy. The T800 is good at WOT, just not where I want it to be at part throttle. The Tuneboy is on order, but I haven't received it yet. I will do some street tuning and I'm positive this thing will be 100%. I'll then dyno it to see where I am at. Front/Rear individual bank tuning will be so easy with the Tunbeboy software. The widebands wire into the factory wiring in the factory exhaust locations. Then the ECU logs everything. Should be real easy to see where correction is required and how much is required. The two widebands have already been delivered, just waiting on the tuneboy hardware.

Still waiting on the TuneBoy. I've been tracking the package, it just arrived in Canada, so hopefully only a few days away now.

As an update on how the Jester exhaust sounds, I've finally got to ride with someone that has a V4 with full Akrapovic exhaust. I can say this, the Jester exhaust is louder (no DB killers to no DB killers), is deeper, and sounds more aggressive (has more rumble and definitely more "pop" on shifts). I do not regret the choice one bit. But you do have to like a loud exhaust. Once I can develop a custom tune for it, it will be perfect.
 
The Akra is more high pitched for sure and I’m sure we could guess as too why but I’m happy my exhaust is quite a bit deeper like my 1299. Can’t wait to see (hear) more sound clips from you but here’s a vid of my buddy’s 2019 V4 with full Akra. He isn’t afraid to rev it to the limit

 
I dont think that is a great sound clip of the Akra. That almost sounds like a dirt bike to me. They sound much better than that in person.

It reminded me of a dirt bike sound in person. To me it sounded sharp & piercing instead of deep and vicious. But at least his bike got the UpMap

let me present this and I’m not giving you attitude: when Akra was the only game in town, you and I both thought it sounded good.. at least better than stock. But now that we’ve had many experiences with a different (better sounding) system, the true sound of the Akra is now present to us?
