Just bought my first Ducati

Hi everyone,

I have been a fan for a long time, finally I took the plunge and bought a brand new 2015 Diavel Dark . my negotiation included a free wind shield + tank bag + tail bag. and $750 on dealer store credit. I am new to riding, I only had a Harley sporster, wind does bother me so I wanted a wind shield, I am a doctor and since I don't have much time to ride my bike, I try riding every minute I get, I ride to my office to the hospital even to meetings, plus longer trips over the weekends so I needed a bag to carry my stuff .

Questions:

what are your recommendation for a wind shield that would give some protection from the wind but still keep the sexy lines of the Diavel? my dealer is suggesting the same one used on the strada.

I am thinking about cancelling one of the bags and getting something else instead, which one should I get rid of ? the tank or tail bag?

If my dealer goes for it and allows me to get another accessory of same value, what would you chose?

If you were me how would you spend thew dealer's $750 in store credit ?

finally even though I luv the all dark, I want to add some red or gold color to it, what would you start with ?

I would keep the tail bag it's sweet and can be used with just the small side bags if you don't need the large bag. I never liked tank bags. They are kind of in the way.

I have the windshield you mentioned and it blocks a lot of the body wind but your head still gets wind. I'm 5'6" so if your taller might be more wind for you.

I would get a set of frame plugs instead of tank bag but that's me. Not sure you like the plugs.

If you don't have proper riding I would spend the credit on that.

You could get some of the rim decals in red. I don't like them but you might.
