Just purchased my FIRST Ducati!!! 1199R

Hi,

I have just purchased my first Ducati a 2013 1199R with only 5200 Miles on the clock its an absolute gem as its only had 1 owner from new!!!!

With me being a newbie i welcome any information & advice anyone can give to me weather that be advice/things to look out for/ past experiences/ mods that are a must literally ANYTHING!!! Dont hold back anything and everything is appreciated GOOD OR BAD!!!

Welcome to Ducati and a WILD ride.
After hearing how well the 899 handled I bought the kit to quicken the 1199r's handling.

Installing the 24 degree kit w/pics

This kit will make the wheelbase shorter and bring the front wheel in closer to the radiator .

Good Choice ….. Welcome and congratulations on your 1st real motorcycle i have a 13 1199r track bike and love it. it’s a beautiful bike and a lot of fun to ride. My advice is to get to know it and do at least one track day on it.
