At 52 years of age, I finally got my dream Ducati. Been wanting one before I ever joined the Army at 18 cuz I figured If I could never afford a Ferrari, just maybe I could get the Ferrari of motorcycles

Bike is two weeks old, have done CRC levers, Baxley Sport Chock, and just got Fed Ex notification that my RapidBike racing module is on its way. Looking forward to possibly modding my stock exhaust cans.

Congratulations on the new bike. After riding Hondas for 45 years I got my first Ducati 2 years ago and the smile has never left my face.

The RapidBike Race module was the best thing I have ever done to the Ducati - worth every penny.

Enjoy the ride!!

Thx. I forgot to mention it is the base 1299 Panigale sold my 2000 955i Daytona after 25,000 miles. Still a blast but ready for something different to park next to my other bikes

Congrats on the 1299. You will deff enjoy it. I bought the base too and don't regret it at all. I also installed the rapidbike race and in my opinion it is the best thing since sliced bread. It transformed my bike. It smoothed everything out and now seems to pull all the way to redline. Amazing.

Congrats man! You're going to love your Ducati. She can be a tough ride in the city (i.e. heat), but when you hit an open road or do a track day or race, the Duc is incredible. I've said it before and it's worth saying again: There are a lot of good guys on here and they have a ton of information. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Peace and ride on.

Put the bike up on the lift last week and installed the RB Race module. Took my time as I needed to learn the little tricks of removing fairings without breaking any tabs/hooks etc. Have just over 400 miles on the clock and around 50 with the module installed. From what I've gathered it'll take around 200 to get itself all sorted out with fueling and such. Rear brake and clutch fluid turned much darker than I expected so I've flushed and refilled them both. Sure do love the bike. I'm a Tech on Japanese and HD so it's kinda fun getting experience with Euro bikes. Now I have an excuse for the specialty tools and data tool for ecm
