Just Slid On Over

Hey Folks, just kind of slid on over from Ducatims and been noseing around for the last week. Just paid off my Paul Smart and the Panigale is at the top of the list to join her in the toy box. I won't be buying the new bike till 2015 so hopefully it'll be a perfect bike by then. Besides my PS I've also had a 998s FE in the past. I'll be looking to pick up an "R" or Tri Colore when I'm ready. Looking forward to bike number 25 and my third Italian.

I gotta keep telling myself this to make the wait bearable. I can't get over how tiny it feels.

It definitely does not feel like a liter bike at all. That's the best feature of all, being light and nimble like a 600!

I was thinking more like GP 250.

I wouldn't call mine perfect; I'd like the hydraulic clutch to last more than 1,000 miles before it needs a bleed and it would be nice if my dash-ecu would not fail every few thousand miles.

It does remind me of my tz250 race bike. All of the lightness of required input with none of the twitchy feel GP bikes are/were famous for.

I just picked up a 2013 Ninja 300 for my wife. The Panigale is lighter, better balanced and a lower CG.

I bought my wife the 250 many years ago. I remember it having an insane redline. You have to hand it to Kawazakifor coming out with a non-standard size bike that really performs.

I have to wait. I'm going to get the last hospital bill paid off this year and my friend who took care of me paid back next year. In the mean time my Paul Smart and her rattler clutch keeps me grinning ear to ear.
