I ran k tech on my first s1k. Was great and seemed to have better mfg. tolerances than Ohlins. Performance-wise I didn't feel it was significantly better than Ohlins. The one thing I'd consider is availability, or lack thereof, of parts in the Bay Area. If you're on the track and you need a new spring, etc. very little track support here. If you're on a road trip and run into an issue, ohlins parts and people that work on it are everywhere.

Most run Maxton at the TT and the road circuits, K-Tech specialise more for track but don't let that confuse you, great kit and great guys luckily only an hour away from me
