Stopped by Catalyst Reaction to get the suspension set up on my base model. Asked him for a price quote on ohlins upgrade and he said he recommends K tech. Anyone running their rear shock/ cartridge kit? Any feedback is appreciated.

just look at the guys in the TT they run this gear....I hear its top notch!

I ran k tech on my first s1k. Was great and seemed to have better mfg. tolerances than Ohlins. Performance-wise I didn't feel it was significantly better than Ohlins. The one thing I'd consider is availability, or lack thereof, of parts in the Bay Area. If you're on the track and you need a new spring, etc. very little track support here. If you're on a road trip and run into an issue, ohlins parts and people that work on it are everywhere.

Most run Maxton at the TT and the road circuits, K-Tech specialise more for track but don't let that confuse you, great kit and great guys luckily only an hour away from me :D
