Ok experts i really need your help. Last night i was riding back from daytona when something hit me in the leg, turns out it was my kickstand hitting me. I pulled into the weigh station with the bike still running and came to a stop. I turned the bike off, borrowed a tool from a truck driver and cut the kickstand wires (3 of them, one black, one blue, one red) and was gonna just get the bike home and bolt it back on later. Well, the bike wont start now. It wont turn over. I spliced the wires back together as well and tried to start it. Nothing. I NEED HELP!! WHAT DO I DO?

You can't just splice those wires together, it has a magnetic sensor on the kickstand assembly. If you can splice the wires back up to the sensor and then duct tape a magnet to it, that would get you rolling again. Failing that, call Ducati Roadside Assistance and they can get you towed to the nearest Ducati dealer for repairs. 800-234-1353

To remove the side stand you need something like this:
Ducati Omaha Sidestand Delete Kit - Panigale

Find a magnet and place it on the kickstand switch assembly, just where there i a litle dot, upper rear corner, and you are fine to go again

My kickstand almost flew off two times.
As far as I know the sensor is based on reed relay.
If one is going to play with a magnet: Please be a aware that the sensor is polarity sensititve. Magnet will only work in one way. So you have to make sure that polarity is correct before glueing the magnet :)
I learned it the hard way.

i spliced the wires back together and mounted the kickstand back and it works. what a pain in the ass...

Does anyone know what those two bolts are as far as size and pitch? like M10 x 1.25 or .......

Do the Pro Stock upmap. That disables the kickstand sensor.

I'll have to check mine, on the maiden voyage home from the dealer when I first bought it, within 50ft on the freeway I lost the leftside mirror bolt. By my exit, it was falling off :( Some blue locktite and we're all good now. Seems these things pretty much try to rattle itself loose.
