love my handroids...
They had a Handroid rep at AMS? Was he selling them with any special discounts?
If you have the ability to grab a set NO DOUBT do so!! I love mine and as stated above they are wicked comfortable despite looking like Robo Cop gloves!
I have 3-4 sets of gloves and these are usually the ones I grab when going for a long ride due to comfort. Even with that special piece on the palm which slides upon impact they don't interfere with throttle hand placement etc. I give em 2 thumbs up for sure!
If you are seriously interested in a set of these PM me and I can assist no prob
BTW- I know the guys at AMS very well too. Jeff did some serious work on my old 900SS and Jordan tuned my 1198s Corse. Tell them and Marty I say hello.
Hey gunny which 900SS did you have. One of the old 70's classics or a newer one ? BTW those gloves look great. May get some when my Dainese full metal pro ones wear out.
Has anyone seen these yet? Are they any good? There was a sales rep at AMS Dallas today with some, I tried them on wow were they comfy.....looked to be built really well. Look cool as .... to..
The plastic plate on the back of glove causes discomfort on the knuckles.
I suppose it may depend on the shape of your hands.
I will usually switch gloves on track days anyway, but knuckles are sore the next day.
I still like them though cause they look so cool. I painted the cords silver to look like a "borg"
Interesting, I have the same issue with my Dainese Full Metal Pros. The cf bits on the knuckles don't line up with mine and cause soreness.
Can anyone compare the size of handroids to the Full Metal Pros please? I'd like to try them out.
Thanks ^^. So essentially, both gloves seem to be similar in size? If you were to line up the gloves on each other which is bigger and where? I have normal length fingers but large and wide palms.
Cheers
They are very close in terms of length, however the Knox are slightly more narrow in the fingers and in the palms. I would have imagined that the Dainese were a better fit for your hands. When I went to buy the Knox, the salesperson saw my narrow hands and suggested that the Dainese wouldn't fit nearly as well.
