Just traded my 1199 in for a 2014 hypermotard Sp. Gonna miss the thing but i am not gonna miss paying 2200 a year for insurance! If anyone is on here looking at a 1199 get one! Its a experience you will never forget and gives you a feeling that i will surely miss! However i love my new hyper and is less aggressive on my check book and my bank!

If it were not for the 1199, or the multistrada 1200, it would definitely be the Hyper for me. love the look and ride of that bike!

Good luck enjoy, I sat on one few weeks ago but wow tip toe ballerina style and yet Multi no prob, ordered a Pikes Peak traded the Suoer tenere and 1199 but I am considering keeping the 1199 it will kill me to hand it in but we will see what happens 2 weeks till pick up PP!

Agreed on the fun factor. I have both a SP and 1199 at the moment. The Tri is going to be sold when I sort out the best way to do it.
