Has anyone else received the latest TSB from Ducati?

FYI:

RCL-14-001

Summary:

Ducati has determined that your motorcycles dashboard may fail to supply power to the left handlebar switch.

Model Year 2013 (all) and some late model 2012.

I received it too. My right turn signal stopped working altogether. And when I put my left signal on, I couldn't cancel it. I went to the dealership and they fixed it in a half a hour.

While my bike was in the shop getting safety wired, Adam took care of this for me.

Kind of makes sense- Right turn signal doesn't seem to work some of the time, nor can I cycle between trip meters and odometer"¦I'll have to bring this up the next time I am at the dealer.

Full blown recall, as of 6/6/2014... Was tsb881- now recall RCL-14-001...

this started out as a tsb and many of us had this fixed last year.
just got the notice in the mail today after it has now become a recall.

iirc you WILL want this one done, even if you are not showing the symptoms.

I got a recall notice last week in the mail, I haven't had any problem with the control, but will have to make a appointment

My bike is a 2013 Tricolore..
Still haven't got the recall notice...

Does this mean my bike is exempt:confused:

Hi in Australia we do not get the same recalls as you but have the same problems but know one can explain why?

Might depend on when you took delivery? Mine is a 13 as well, but I had a very early 13 (delivered in 12/2012) and I had the problem. Mine would manifest itself as not being able to use my left turn signal.

We already had this recall issued back in late March early April.
My bike was done under the recall in early April:)
Prior to that it was the subject of TSB 881.
For once we were ahead of the rest of the world:eek:

From TSB-881.

INVOLVED BIKES
We would like to inform you that the instrument panel hardware has been modified
starting from the frame serial numbers listed in the table below in order to prevent
this possible malfunction. Only the bikes having an older serial number could require
the installation of the additional wiring.

BIKE VERSION. NUMBERS STARTING FROM VIN NO.
Panigale Basic 1199 ZDM14BPWXDB011245
Panigale S 1199 ZDM14BPW8DB011650

Mine was 600+ below these numbers, so I needed it done when the problem occurred...
