I got my recall in the mail on Wednesday but the dealer already completed it when my bike was in there a month ago.
Dealer Bulletin RCL 14-001 is what I received in the mail; which, for my early 2012, included the wiring update SB-881 and the update that the later bikes are getting.

oh yeah that was announced long ago as mentioned above, with specific serial numbers. Interesting enough my S has a "4" in the place of the "8" on that serial numbers affected reference, so I am completely outside the recall. I have received nothing and at this point that failure is trivial in that it has affected many for a while now and the fix is known. Its the unannounced failures which I am fearing.
