Hey all!

Looking to swap out my stock 1199r levers for shortys.

I have crg rc2 on my monster but wanted to go a bit diff on the newnew haha. I know Rizoma has a few nice sets which I'm leaning towards. But If anyone can recommend any other good ones? Foldable would be preferred!

Also thinking of swapping the brake and clutch fluid reservoir to the Rizoma as well. Recommendations?

Thanks for any and all input!!!

J

Thats EXACTLY what I have on my Tri - CRG Shorties in Gold!

Wasn't there just another Lever thread on here recently? Search for it and you shall find a ton of OPINIONS!

Ya thanks gunny! I wasn't sure of the crg cf ones as on some sites it says it doesn't fit for the 1199 :/

Oh it fits fine but you need the TINY TINY little pin to make em work so whatever you do DONT lose that thing when taking them off and swapping them out!

Hmm ya those ones aren't foldable. But so damn sexy! I am pretty happy with crg as a whole. Never went with Rizoma before tho. Their "feel" brand looks pretty legit as well....might go well matching with the aluminum tank and new aluminum fluid reservoirs as well....oh man.....decisions decisions!

I have the shorty CRG CF brake lever on my 899 and it has a nice feel and looks great. However, the jury is still out on whether to do a full length lever on the clutch side as it is so much stiffer than my Monster. Still looking for recommendations on that. Anyone get a shorty clutch lever and regret doing so? Might get the full and put the shorty I ordered on the Monster instead.

Make sure you get the correct part # for the 1199/899 as the dealers might have an old Parts Unlimited catalog. Otherwise, look at Ducati Omaha as they just started carrying them. Plan to wait as they are popular and have been on back order for quite some time.

I have gold Oberon, shorter than stock, but not too short. They have been flawless and awesome. I also have new unused CRG RC2 in gold with red dial that I never returned after getting the Oberons. One box is still sealed as I only opened one to look at it. for sale if you want them

I've considered this. The clutch is definitely a bit harder to pull with the shorty, but I've gotten used to it.

I'm actually going for the silver/aluminum look to match my tank hehe thanks tho! Never tried Oberon.

Man leaning towards the rizomas....I know they're a bit overpriced as it is name. Too many options!!

Nm. Going with the gold scheme for my R haha. Pretty much settled on Rizoma but not sure if the levers are worth the steep price.....I'm sure they're wuality
