LH handlebar switch

Hello all , I have to replace my LH handlebar due to my V4 falling off a stand .
My question is how do i remove the switch block , manual says i need Ducati tool 88713.4967 .

Is there another way of releasing the block from my old bar or do I have to purchase the said tool ?

If you look under the bracket, there's a small channel for the tool.

I used a small flat blade screwdriver, inserted into the channel, and just wiggle everything until the catch releases.

I have a set of bonamici handlebars if you are interested, new never used.

In the center squarish opening in the plastic under the switch block, find a hex wrench that just fits in that square opening, push it in hard and it will disengage the switch block from the handle bar.
