geeeeezus, sometimes this forum is like people watching in Walmart... or montel...

First guy: "Here's an idea peoples... feel free to try it..."
Second guy: "Your idea is ........, do this instead"
First guy: ".... you"
Second guy: "Can you believe this guy everybody? What's his problem?? How immature."

But fun though.... :)
 
And it does work on metals, my mom used to use tootpaste to polish the silver for thanksgiving when I was a kid...

LOL my mate used toothpaste and lipstick to fix a dented fuel tank on a hired scooter he crashed in Greece. He got away with it too:)
