Hi guys. I just installed a lithium battery on my V2. Big weight savings - the stock battery weighs in at 2500 grams. The replacement lithium is only 800 grams.

Here's a link to the PDF file showing how to remove the LHS fairing components, and access the battery compartment :

Here's a link to the battery I'm using : SSB High Performance Lithium LH7B-4

If you choose an alternative manufacturer, make sure you match the specs on this battery (dimensions and terminal location/height) :

DIMENSIONS:
Length: 150mm
Width: 64.5mm
Height: 91.6mm
Terminal Height: 91.6mm
Weight: 0.8KG

Thanks for linking the instructions and the info! Much appreciated. My bike seems to be have been standing in the dealers space/showroom for quite some time when I bought it in August. Just a few weeks after purchase I got trouble getting it started. When pushing the start button, the TFT screen/dash went black and the engine was just dead. Recharged the battery and it worked again. Now it's getting worse. I assume the dealer never had the battery on maintenance charge. So instead of replacing it, I'll upgrade it to Lithium. Already have a Lithium charger for the KTM enduro bike. Can get rid of that conventional charger then

From what I can see, this battery for the 959 should match the specs you provided? Australia is a bit far from Sweden to buy stuff :).
