Hi,

Just got a 1299s and contrary to what some websites say the aussie model at least comes with lead-acid battery that weighs 2.7kg (Yuasa YT7B-BS) which has about 85 or 120CCA (cold-crank-amps) depending which site you look at; and 6 AH (amp-hours).

You can save 2kg by installing this one which should be an exact fit replacement:

SSB Powersport Ultralite Lithium
LFP9B-4
CCA: 190.
0.7kg

dimensions given are same as old battery: 150mmx65mmx92mm; and has significantly more CCA.

Have just ordered this but not yet fitted.

cheers

Shorai.

I haven't started my bike in 5 weeks due to torrential rain in the area, so I put it on a tender yesterday. It took all of 5 seconds to go to "full."
