If they are trying to reduce Dovi's salary, they aren't going to pay JL money. Even though he failed at HRC and took a year off, he is still a champ and will command more money.

#s from 2018:
Dovizioso’s salary is slightly lower that his compatriot Jorge Lorenzo who is said to earn an extra million which totals up to $8 million

Yeah, Dovi didn't get his raise until '17 season was over and JL was already under contract with Duc. He, Dovi, only made around 2mil for 2017 and got bumped to 5.6 for 18&19 after coming in 2nd for the '17 season

Maybe they could donate Iannone’s salary to AD, it doesn’t look like he will be doing much to earn it.

It'd be a great to see Dovi @ Aprilia. Help them get the new bike up to form. As good as Aleix may be and Smith as a tester... a top 5 rider out there every FP, Qual and race would benefit them more. Piaggio just needs to give Rivola more money to make it happen.
